The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) is an executive agency of HM Revenue & Customs. Most, though certainly not all, of the work we do involves compiling and maintaining the rating and council tax lists for England and Wales. Travelling By car
From A1 (Northbound)
Keep on A1 following the signs for Airport(this is the most common sign). You will take the NEXT turnoff about a quarter of a mile AFTER THE Airport turnoff on a fast downhill stretch.
On the slip road keep in the right hand lane and turn right at the roundabout . Follow this road for about a mile through a set of traffic lights and bear left at a mini roundabout(painted dot in the road). You will come to a main roundabout turn right and get in the right hand lane. Beware of the speed camera 30 mile limit. Straight across the next roundabout (Multiyork) and turn right at the traffic lights and bear left. The office is in front of you. Park in the first part of the car park not the area for permit holders only.

Travelling by Public Transport
From Newcastle Central Station get on a Metro bound for Airport and get off at the 7th stop, Regent Centre. Come up the escalator and walk out of the station. Turn right and follow the pavement until you are opposite the Gosforth Civic Hall you will see our eight story office block.
