| Travelling
By car
- From the South onto M23 to M25.
- From the North onto M1 to M25.
- From the West onto M4 to M25.
- From the South -East onto M20 to M25.
- Most routes join the M25, from the M25 drivers need junction 28 onto the A12.
- Take the Chelmsford exit off of the A12.
- Take the 1st exit at the 1st roundabout.
- The 2nd exit at the 2nd roundabout.
- The 2nd exit at the 3rd roundabout.
- And at the 4th roundabout take the 1st exit, this will take you onto New London Road.
- Travel straight down this road and Chelmsford VO is about ¾ of the way down on your right hand side.
- There is no visitor parking at the office, but visitors can park in George Street car park. Access is via New Writtle Street. Turn left at the traffic lights by Kwik Fit and turn right into car park, just before the United Brethren public house.
- Disabled parking is available by arrangement, please call 01245 541229 in advance of your journey.
Travelling by Public Transport
Both the train station and the bus station are a 10 min walk from the office. A number 100, 42 or 350 caught from the bus station will stop outside the office.
If walking from the train station.
- Out of station at front on to Duke Street turn left .
- Use crossing to your right, cross over Duke Street continuing left and turn immediately right into Victoria Road South. About ½ way down use crossing then continue onto Parkway.
- Walk along Parkway past Bellmead over the river until you come to a subway.
- Take the subway under Parkway onto New London Road.
- Walk down New London Road on the left hand side until you reach New Writtle Street.
- London House is on the corner across New Writtle Street.
Alternatively there are Taxis at the rear of the station. DISABLED FACILITIES
- Lift access to all floors.
- Disabled WC's on ground and second floors.
