Steve Hartnell updated the Management Board in relation to progress on ERP. Work and testing of the system continues to go well and is on track to go live on 9 July 2007.
David Park provided the Management Board with an update on progress of the EPR Bill. The first reading of the Bill has now taken place, with the second reading scheduled for 7 June. The Regulations will be introduced a week later and will be under consultation between July and September and will come into effect from April 2008.
Paul Sanderson updated the Management Board on the cost of a GIS for the Agency. Further consideration would have to be given to this.
David Park provided the meeting with a paper, which provided analysis of the only key performance indicator the Agency did not meet in 2006/07, and lessons to be learned for 2007/08.
For local taxation and DVS, a number of key performance indicators were provisionally set at amber/green status at this early stage in the year and because a number of measures had moved to elapsed time.
In HR, the indicator for core skills was set at amber/green as a precautionary measure at this time of year, but there were only 10 staff at risk. The measure for sick absence was showing red status, but indications were that movement was heading in the right direction.
Mary Morrison–Paton provided an overview of the information that Groups and Units would receive, following results from the staff attitude survey, so that staff could discuss the outcomes and provide feedback on their results.
