COUNCIL TAX (WALES) REVALUATION 2005 - DRAFT LIST AND COMPILED LIST

1. Introduction

This Circular provides details regarding the final refresh of the draft list and generation of the compiled list.

2. Draft List

The last Draft 2005 List will be generated on 21 February 2005. This is to enable Billing Authorities to “draw a line in the sand” and produce their bills prior to 1 April 2005.

It will still be possible to make changes to the draft list after 21 February 2005. The final date for making any changes is 24 March 2005. This takes into account the Easter Holiday period and the need to generate the compiled list.

3. Compiled List

The compiled list will be generated on 29 March 2005 and will be available to Billing Authorities via the BATRANS site on 1 April 2005. The Alterations Report (ie: list of deleted entries, new entries and amended entries for each BA) and notices will also be generated on 29 March 2005. Notices must be output on 29 March 2005 and issued to Council Tax payers on the same day. The Alterations Report must be output between 29-31 March 2005 and sent to the relevant Billing Authorities.
