In conjunction with the PIP team a questionnaire and covering letter has been devised to assist with the
processing of CR10s, ie those not activated by a sale. The questionnaire is designed to gather sufficient
information from the Taxpayer to enable survey and dwelling house details to be updated and in due course
allocate a band to a property. The use of the questionnaire should significantly reduce the number of inspections required.
The questionnaire should be issued for any CR10s on the control list that have not been dealt with and for those
appearing on future printouts.
On receipt of the completed questionnaire stages 6 to 11 of Wales Council Tax Revaluation No.01/02 should be
followed. The questionnaire should be stapled to and filed away with the CV/R/37 or VO9072.
