[London, 7 June] - Margaret Devlin has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Valuation Office Agency (VOA), in succession to David Stathers. Her appointment at the VOA commenced on 9 May 2005.
Miss Devlin has been Managing Director of South East Water Ltd. since 1999, having been with the company since 1990. Previously, she worked in the retail sector. Miss Devlin is also President of the Institution of Water Officers, and Chairman of Water UK. As part of her responsibilities, she will be chair of the VOA's Audit Committee.
Andrew Hudson, Chief Executive, VOA, comments: “I am delighted that Margaret Devlin will be joining us as a Non-Executive Director. She brings a wealth of experience of customer-facing industries, and will have a valuable contribution to make to the work of the VOA. We look forward to working with her on the Board.”

The Valuation Office Agency is an Executive Agency of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
