David Tretton, Director Rating, has been appointed Head of Profession for valuation surveying.
His role will ensure the VOA’s active contribution to the development of the Professional Skills for Government framework and in particular recognition within it of the significance of property valuation and advisory activities.
One of the responsibilities of the Head of Profession will be to ensure that processes are in place to develop and enhance the skills of VOA staff in valuation-related areas to reflect the needs of the Agency, championing and helping to promote the learning and improving culture - with access and opportunities for all - that is central to our world class aspiration. Another important aspect will be to promote and support the development of valuation surveying standards across Government.
