Reducing your carbon footprint and meeting the demands for climate change has never been more important. Improving the energy performance of your properties can make a substantial contribution and result in significant cost saving at the same time. DVS provides a wide range of services to help you do this.
DVS provides Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for non-domestic buildings and Display Energy Certificates (DECs) for public buildings. These certificates are accompanied by reports identifying achievable and effective cost savings.
We also offer BREEAM Assessments (Building Research Establishments Environmental Assessment Method) for new and existing properties, which are tailored to specific clients’ needs covering a range of property classifications. Our assessors are among the first to be trained in BREEAM In Use for existing properties.
Our Environmental Performance Reviews can be a key factor in determining your sustainability credentials and carbon footprint. They provide realistic achievable goals and and help progress towards your low carbon commitment.
Energy and sustainability policies are pivotal in reducing energy consumption. We can provide support in shaping policies and training occupiers on building use and management to ensure your accommodation works efficiently.
DVS is also helping to support The Department of Energy and Climate Change to establish a baseline for consumption against which future changes can be measured.
DVS Accredited Energy Assessors are accredited by BRE (the Building Research Establishment) and are able undertake work in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
