The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) is an executive agency of HM Revenue & Customs. Most, though certainly not all, of the work we do involves compiling and maintaining the rating and council tax lists for England and Wales. Travel Details

Travelling By Car

From A1 Northbound

1. Leave the A1(M) at junction 61 (Bowburn) and proceed in a north-westerly direction through Bowburn, High Shincliffe and Shincliffe
2. approx. ½ mile after Shincliffe turn right at the roundabout on to Whinney Hill
3. Go along Whinney Hill until just passed the main entrance to Durham Prison and turn right on to Green Lane
4. Wycliffe House is at the far end of the lane on the right hand side

From A1 Southbound

1. Leave the A1(M) at Junction 62 (Carville) and turn right at the roundabout on to A690 (Durham)
2. go straight across the first roundabout and turn left at the next roundabout.
3. At the first set of traffic lights turn left, go along for about 300m and turn left on to Green lane.
4. Wycliffe House is at the far end of the lane on the right hand side.
5. Car Parking is available.

Travelling by Public Transport

From Durham Train Station get a taxi to Wycliffe House. 30 minutes walk from the Train Station to Wycliffe House.
