Local Housing Allowance Rates
Local Housing Allowance (LHA) rates for all postcodes and local authority areas can be found on the LHA–Direct section of the Directgov website. They are updated annually each April.
A Bedroom Calculator works out how many bedrooms different types of households are entitled to and therefore which LHA rate applies. The pages listed below summarise the LHA rates for every Broad Rental Market Area in England.
Note – From April 2012 LHA rates are updated annually instead of monthly. LHA rates therefore remain the same from April through to the following March.
