The Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty

The VOA published on its website on Friday 27January the following Equality information as required by section 149 of the Equality Act 2010.

This article explains the requirements of the public sector equality duty and the VOA arrangements. The Act introduces the specific duties and requires that the VOA publish Equality information by 31st January 2012 and then annually. Equality objectives will be developed and published by 6th April 2012.
