Rating lists for each billing authority in England and Wales are held by the relevant valuation officers (VO's)
and copies are provided to the billing authorities. This 'Rating Lists on the Internet' application provides a version of each list in a form that enables convenient access to the relevant information by ratepayers. Because this information is only updated once every week it may not be the same as that shown in the actual list held by the VO. Alterations to entries previously shown in lists do not appear in the Internet application version
.
- look up the rateable value of your property,
- view your summary valuation, if available, and compare it to others,
- make a proposal to alter the rating list entry of your property (make an appeal),
- view these pages in Welsh by clicking on the Welsh flag at the top of the page.
There are two Rating lists available, the 2000 Rating List and the 2005 Rating List:
2000 Rating List : This covers the period 1 April 2000 to 31 March 2005
2005 Rating List : This covers the period 1 April 2005 to 31 March 2010
If you have already made an appeal against your rateable value:
Appeals against rating assessments are grouped together in order to deal with them more efficiently. These groups are known as sub programmes.
Each Sub-programme contains information about which appeals are included, and the period within which discussions will take place
